Sunday Praise: Make a Joyful Shout!

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the LORD, He [is] God; [It is] He [who] has made us, and not we ourselves; [We are] His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, [And] into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, [and] bless His name. For the LORD [is] good; His mercy [is] everlasting, And His truth [endures] to all generations.” (Psalms 100:1-5 NKJV)

Shout to the Lord! There’s a thought. When is the last time you came to worship and you were so moved by God’s love that you wanted to shout?

Well don’t hold back for He is worthy of praise. Don’t be someone who fakes it to draw attention, but if the Holy Spirit fills your heart with joy, let your praise ascend to the heavens.

Remember when you were without hope in the world? Has not God set you free from the bondage of sin? Are you not now a child of the King? Enter into His gates with thanks giving, and into His courts with praise.

Meditation prepares the heart and adoration is the result. Learn to sing in your heart. Bless His Name for the Lord is Good, and His mercy is everlasting. Bow not only your head, but also your heart today.
