Sunday Praise
I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. In the day when I cried out, You answered me, [And] made me bold [with] strength in my soul. All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, When they hear the words of Your mouth. Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, For great [is] the glory of the LORD. Though the LORD [is] on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me. The LORD will perfect [that which] concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, [endures] forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” (Psalms 138:1-8 NKJV)
Oh, let our hearts turn to heaven this morning. Let praise pour from our lips this day. May we Praise the Lord with our whole heart for He is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. He alone is to be praised.
“Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly.” We Praise You Lord for not leaving us in our sinfulness. Thank you for calling us out from this crooked and perverse generation. Grant us strength to proclaim your mercy to the ends of the earth.
Those who stand against us stand against God. Who is able to strike the Almighty? He who spoke the worlds into being, “. . . laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming” (Psalms 37:13 NKJV). “His right hand will save you” for His mercy endures forever.
Enter His court with thanksgiving this morning. Prepare your heart for worship. Meditate upon the glory of God and stir your heart. Be as the psalmist who said, “My heart was hot within me; While I was musing, the fire burned . . .” (Psalms 39:3 NKJV).
Beloved, come to Lord this day without distraction. Dwell on His majesty and be refreshed.
A cool Breeze
Water trickling over Rocks
The coo of the morning Dove
All soothing in this Place
But, nothing calms us More
Than feeling His Embrace
Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
